Early Delivery!!!
Wow, this is great. Our dealership called on Friday and said our 2003 SL500 will be ready for delivery on Monday or Tuesday. It was scheduled for a September 1st delivery date originally...guess it came earlier or something.
Here's the options and colors

Hi, Waiting to see the pics. I went to my local dealer today and saw a Magma Red with charcoal.. looked nice.. he is expecting two pewters but I could only see them on a CLK 500...

Your new SL is quite beautiful, and you lucked out with the '04 rims!
Interesting that you get plates so fast in Illinois. It takes sometimes a few months here in CA.
Bought a C320 at end of June, and we still don't have plates. They came within 3 weeks for my SL500.
Also, like your house. We don't have many with brick here or with the mansard style roof as yours.
Don't take it out in the snow. You need to get what we used to call a "beater" in Boston for the winter months.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I ordered the same color and equipment but in an SL55. The cut off for changes was 8/6 with expected delivery 9/15. They could not tell me what the changes would be for a 2004, except that the side rear view mirrors may fold.
