AMG IV wheels
Sorry to come back on this subject, I know it has been discussed already. But my question remains open. Can someone confirm if he has installed these wheels on an SL500 WITHOUT modifying anything on the body of the car.
It seems that some of you are saying that it is not possible without modifying the rear wings of the car. Some are saying it is not necessary. What is the truth ?
Any trouble with this setup ?
Thanks for the replies

I just saw a SL500 at the dealership yesterday with those wheels on. I am pretty positive that there is no fender work required. Imagine how many SL owners are willing to ask someone to mess around with their fenders on a 100K car? If you are planning to get those wheels, you are more than welcome to shoot me an e-mail.

Which wheel do you mean?
Do you mean the one-piece Styling IV (from S-class or E-55) or
the two-piece Styling IV. The two piece ones fit as per factory brochure.
The one-piece ones will need spacers and their width is not the same as factory specs.

Hi Harris
Thanks for the good sense of humor, we really need this nowadays.
This said thanks for your offer. The problem is now the following :
No objection to buy these wheels from you providing
1. the price is competitive
2. they can be airfreight to .... Switzerland
3. official AMG certificate for these wheels to be provided in order to successfully registered them in Switzerland with the Authorities in charge of homologation
If all the 3 points above are met we can discuss further
Nice day in Canada

1. & 2. My price is always competitive, but if the wheels were sent from Germany to Canada and from Canada to Switzerland, it will not be competitive anymore, especially by Air.
3. This could be done but as I stated above, there's no point for you to buy the wheels at a much higher price from me. I think it will be much cheaper for you to order directly from AMG Germany.
Good luck!!!
