One thing more... are you sure your hood is same as I have??
They have at least two types of hoods..... Black edition and SL63AMG hood.
I have seen them booth and I have install them also.
Black edition is rounder than the other one.... ( SL63AMG hood is "folded in the middle").
When I have inspect them booth I can say the black edition quality is much better than SL63AMG... more stronger and looks more OEM also.

Here is a picture about SL63AMG hood.

I noticed the differences a couple weeks ago between the two hoods, and prior to ordering my hood, I made sure the one I ordered is the SL65 Black series hood, not the SL63 hood with the vents on the sides. The SL63 one just didn't look right to me. The only problem is that the SL65 BS hood will require modification as the front of the hood where it meets the bumper is not made to fit the regular SL550/SL63 bumper.

.

Wents on the side??... Booth have them ?? If I understand you right.
The only differences is the hood middle part and maybe the vents location is more at the front than at the other one....
If I was you I would ask why Europeans Prior design have those air holes ready and yours is not?

Yes and thats is also true regarding where the pumper meet the hood.

I may have worded it wrong, but what I meant was that the vents on the original SL65 BS hood look meaner because they are a little curved as opposed to the SL63 variant, they go straight down. There is a bit too much going on in the 63 version with the middle bulge and the vents on the side.

In regards to the air holes on my hood, I am not sure if they are open or not as I still haven't receieved it.. that's why I asked if yours are open or not because we have the same hood. Either way, if they are not open, I will cut them out and put a mesh grill behind it OEM style.

Sorry.... Now I now what you mean.... my hood is also closed and the OEM hood have them open.... I saw it at my model 65AMG BS.
I have order the Speedriven IC kit and scorpion intakes.... so maybe it's better to dremel them out??? Better cooling in the engine room???
First I want to look where the water is going to run when I wash the car... maybe it's going to drop down at the front of the engine and down to the bottom cover and from there to the ground.

Ah that's true. I;m going to have exposed cone filters in the front of my car next to the headlights so I hope that won't be a problem as well. I guess we will wait and see until my hood arrives.

Hello.

Here is the new Intercooler pump from Speedriven. I bought it last year.
It's flow about 3 times better than stock.
I'm gone install it so it's run al the time when ignition is on.
You can't use the OEM wiring if you want to use the pumps al capacity because it's to small..

Here is few pictures about the plastic plates which I'm gone use to fill the gap between OEM fender and Prior design fender .
(OEM inner skirt + this plastic panels. The thickness is about 3 mm.)

Here is the new end pipes.... Black series from Prior design....
Can't use the SL63 end pipes because they are wider and therefore they don't fit.

I've been thinking about your problem in the hood.
Do you bought only the hood ? I bought the whole kit...
I mean maybe the OEM fenders size is also different vs Prior design fenders and there fore it don't fit?? As you know my only problem I have is close the hood but it's not so bad.. but I think I know what I must do.

Can you put some pictures about the fitment problems???

I must also change that big alloy frame at the front so I can use my headlight washers . If you leave the "old" one those washers don't work. The holes where those washer pumps sit have different angle.
I have also use the SL63AMG plugs at the new light harness. Take of the old ones and assembly the new ones. If you do this at this way your headlight automatic level function don't work.
Now I have ordered the upgrade cable harness and I'm gone assembly them when the car arrive from the paint shop.
Now I know that those cables don't work at US cars.... I have ask it from the seller.

Few pictures.
PS. That man at the picture is my uncle Aulis.... not me.
He have Alzaimer and he like to work with me and my projects.
Regarding those upgrade cable harness.
I have now received confirmation that those cables is not gone work at USA cars.... The seller have made them only for European cars BUT not to every one. If I have understand right it depend which year of car you have... my is from 2004.
You must do more than only plug them together if you want that the height leveling it's also gone work you must install the height leveling sensor in the inside of the car.
( At the moment I have not the instructions).

Further if you have connected the entire wiring correctly its possible that you are not able to programm the 0-height level. In that case you would have to replace your central gateway (in Germany called ZGW).

Ekselent, did you ever figure out which pins the headlight level plugs go into?

Prior Design kits are different in many ways, biggest difference is Priors front fenders are about 2" narrower per side vs Misha's, the rears are wee bit smaller too. So my off sets aren't even close to yours. My wheels would look like Mario Karts on your Prior kit

IC pump pictures

Hello.

Today I have install the new IC pump at the same OEM rack.
I want to use OEM parts so much I can.
- Made a hole at the OEM rack
- Cut the damping rubber. I cut it diagonally. My opinion its better than cut it
straight.
- Made a new belt and cut it so it fit the new pump.

I have not test fit it because the car is at the paint shop but I think it's gone be at the right position vs hoses.
