Chris...
I was at your thread and note that your hood is different model of hood I have.
I have had seen both hoods and I have install them also and that hood quality is not as good as Black edition. Black edition hood have more weight and it's better made if you looking "inside" of the hood. The hood frame itself it's much stronger.

I'm sure that is not due to the fitment problem... I want only mention this.

Sorry to hear about your fitment problems.

But do realy the Black edition hood fit with the standard OEM fenders? I think that is the main problem. The Black edition fenders is higher and that makes the hood fit better.

When it comes the the headlight cable kit I understand it is only like 2 cables that have to be moved to the right location in the new conector to make leveling work. Have a friend that did this and it works perfectly. Working on finding out wich it is.

Fenders should be the same height.. just the front grill area is different. Please let me know if you get any updates on the auto leveling pins.. still trying to figure that out

Here is few pictures when I cut of 3-4mm of the front wall plate where the hood rubber sit.
I cut it of a little because it's easier to close the hood... it's was very tight where the rubber hit the hood.
Now I think it's help a lot with the fitment.

You can't use the OEM wiring if you want to use the pumps al capacity because it's to small..

Today I have install this new pump. I install a new power line also from the pump to fuse number 15. This pump consume about 8 Amp so I change a bigger fuse from 15 Amp to 25 Amp also.
Now the pump run constant when ignition is on and the wires is large enough.

Attention.... I gave wrong information.... the fuse number is 19 ( Ignition coil ) not fuse number 15.... Sorry.

Bleh, I waited a month for this hood not gonna wait another month for another lol. Just gonna use my stock alum hood. Maybe down the line I will save up for an OEM black series hood.

My first hood had also a small damage... but it was pretty small so I fix it myself. I ask for compensation and the gave me that.
