Performace exhaust For stock SL600
Does anyone know the what will fit the standard exhaust of a 2006 SL600.
I have a carbon fiber rear skirt and do not want to modify it. So the dual 83mm will not fit.

That a really nice mod to the rear of that r230. I was just wondering if there is a performance exhaust that will fit in the standard oval tip on a 06 SL600?

I know that the 83mm tips you have to modify the rear diffuser . I just trying to figure out what people have used not to modify the back seeing i have a new carbon fiber rear diffuser and do not want to cut it. As for muffler deletes i still want the car to be classy as well as fast and not to loud like i put cherry bombs on the car.

Like I said.... I think eiseann will need no cuttings cuz the pipes are small also the billy boat ones have small pipes not 100% sure but it look like it will fit.

The eisenmann master dealer was clueless and said there product will not fit the SL600-r230. I like the idea that AccelToronto had but my wife would kill me plus i do not want it to sound like my muscle car from the 70's.
Renntech has offered a me a exhaust that i have to use my tips but i want to have new tips.
So if anyone can let me know what they did on there SL600 r-230 it would be helpful.

Muffler deletes are not as loud as you think. The turbos act as mufflers already, so it won't be as loud as a regular V8 with muffler deletes.

I did the muffler delete and used the Porsche gt tips with the cut/molded semi dual tips that fit the diffuser with no mods. Will post a pic when I get back to the house.

Another vote for muffler delete. The TT cars aren't as loud as you think without mufflers. Best 90 bucks ever.

I have to admit it is the cheapest way to go with the deletes. But i still need the car to have a classy look and sound when with the wife.

Did we ever get to see pictures...? I should be receiving my 2008 SL600 any day now and already plan to have the ECU/TCU sent out to Eurocharged as soon as it hits the ground off the truck! I like the spoiler/diffuser look and think I'm doing the muffler delete but also want to find tips that I can use as well......

Muffler Delete is fine as long as you don't add catless downpipes, it should be loud enough for you to be happy but quiet enough for your wife. The moment you do both catless downpipes and muffler delete then the car gets pretty loud esp on WoT.
