Trans flush gone wrong 722.6
Stuip is stuip does
Ok here we go droped pan changed filter added the amount of fluid removed, couild not get to upper bajo fitting on pass side of trans so took off upper hose on rad to drain of flush into measured bucket added about 3 liter of trans fluid into dip stick.
Started car and nothing came out.
Put hose back on rad. started car put in gear and no movement.
Thought ok it was due to be over filled, Now i put oil extracter down tran tube to remove extra fluid and kept checking with dip stick with car not running, sucked out more fluid, started car and put in gear and no movement.
Now being overly smart used dip stick as a guage to measure level of where the fluid should be to extract the extra fluid that i might of added that might cause the car to not go into gear.
Stuip again after doing so the dip stick level is for running in park.
So i have sucked out most of the old fluid out of trans and have no idea now of how much is in the system now.
I think i did not install filer correctly ???( how is a question) and this is why i think nothing came out of hose i disconnected ????.
Any suggestion on how to proceed before i have it towed to dealer I want to recheck filter and drop the pan but afraid of doing nore damage to trans that i might of already caused in the trail and error approach.
I orderd fuchs fluid for this task online and now have to find something local to get car moving again i will flush again with proper fluid if i can get issues resloved ideas on how FIX MY SCREW UP.

No, the level should be measured with the gear selector in "D" or "R" at a fluid temperature of 80 degrees Celsius.
A few notes:
- I performed this flush on my car just a few weeks ago, and I believe it may have taken a few seconds for fluid to emerge from the upper oil cooler hose at the radiator.
- There is a little tab on the top side of the filter which engages the a slot in the bottom of the transmission. Even if you missed this detail, I don't think it is possible to incorrectly install the filter in such a way that the transmission would cease to function.
- Unless you have discarded the oil that you extracted, I don't understand how you could not possibly arrive at a reasonable estimate of the oil currently in the system.

level is measured in N or P
You didn't by accident fill the tranny fluid through the engine oil dipstick tube or ??
Tranny dipstick tube is located a bit hidden under the engine cover just next to the engine oil dipstick tube.
Don't ask how i know such a mistake can be made.....

Correct, The tude is near the fire wall on the passenger side.
BUT there are two of them just besides each other
One for the engine oil dipstick with a round plug,
And one for the tranny fluid with a square plug,
The tranny tube is partly hidden under the engine cover, and the engine tube is clearly visible...

Yup i am an idiot filled engine tube , now extracting 150.00 worth of fluid for the recyclers, lesson learned don't mess with things when tired. Woke up in the middle of my sleep and read mbpeppe post back and wanted to kick myself in the a##, I figured after worked on American cars for over 30 years i should no better. guess not (mbpeppe i owe you a beer if i ever get to Denmark)

Look at it from the bright side
Now you know how much tranny oil to add.....
Change the engine oil and filter, and you are good to go.
This is a pretty good guide for flushing the converter:

If it were me, I'd change the engine and oil filter twice; change it, run it for and hour, then change it again. there's going to be transmission fluid from the bearings and other places that will contaminate the oil as soon as you put it in.

This is you friend when doing something like this. $15 can save you some expensive redo's...
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40
It has measurement lines for both 80C and 25C so you can't mess it up.
Personally i would go for this one or similar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Transmission-Gearbox-Fluid-Dipstick-722-6-722-7-722-8-PROFESSIONAL-TOOL-/121033653752?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c2e2afdf8&vxp=mtr
