Correct Fuse Chart for 2005 SL500

Does anyone have the correct fuse chart for the 2005 SL500?

The ones that everyone lists here (and on other forums) are incorrect for the 2005 models. The only thing I can find is the A230 545 01 00 version, dated 3/12/01, or the AMG version

The correct fuse chart for an '05 should be part# A 230 545 03 00 or newer.

Thanks in advance.

MY05 SL500 Front Left Fuse box

Thanks for the reply.

I've never seen this broken down like this before, so I don't really know which one to ask for. I'm primarily interested in the Front left and front right fuse box layouts.

The charts I've seen have a part number (A 230 545 xx xx) in the upper right hand corner of the sheet. The one posted here and on Benzworld is incorrect for the '05 SL500. The fuse values shown on those charts don't match the fuse values I have inside my fuse box. My system also appears to skip a fuse (F18 ?).

I pulled what was supposed to be fuse F10 (airbag), and I disabled my central locking system.

Here is a photo of my fuse box. If you could take a look at your charts and see if any one of them matches what I have, then perhaps that is the right version.

fuse chart

Hi.
I just got a fuse chart for my 2004 SL600 from the dealer. I went to the Service Dept , and ask the service writer, and he went to his computer and printed 12 pages out from the service manual, for me, NO CHARGE . It consisted, of location of fuse boxes, fuse numbers, and the systems that each fuse protects. Very helpful.
Good luck, Brian T.

I just ordered a Service manual on DVD last night, so hopefully all this info will be there.

I should be getting that in the next few days.

Thanks David. That really looks like what I have, I'll give them a try.

Do you know what "Valid for Code (292)..." means?

These codes are the options fitted to your car.
Thay are given on the "Datacard" for your car.
For example 292 is an airbag code.
You can look up your Datacard on the interweb or if you send me your VIN number (chassis no.) I will look it up.

If you're just interested in having a manual for reference, you can download it from MB.

https://www.mbusa.com/vcm/MB/Digital..._sl5565amg.pdf

If on the other hand you want to have the real physical one, I have a complete set of manuals from my 05 SL500 for sale. If interested send me a PM.
