Have had no problems with it -- actually love it. Had it since April 2003 and have put on over 23,000 miles onto it.

GREAT as a daily driver. I average about 1,500 miles per month and love it! I've driven it in temperatures as high as 88 degrees and as low as 0 degrees and the car does just as good in each. I have a second car and NEVER drive it!

The only issue I can see is nothing to do with the car itself but whether you have somewhere safe to leave it while you're at work. Ignoring malicious damage, the car is very vulnerable to parking dings from other people's doors. But, from an engineering/reliability/comfort point of view, it's fine, of course.

Great daily ride. Did meet with MBUSA zone rep yesterday who promised to work on solving drift to right problem and to really confirm a SAT radio upgrade availability date. Car has about 1400 miles on odometer.

I have switched cars for years (within the MB line) and the SL is the first car that I have come to that has led me to say that this will be a MUST model in my garage for years to come. It is the perfect blend of EVERYTHING and does great in ALL weather.....
