5 days ago I installed a coil over kit with light fix from Strutmaster. It is their newly design kit, which I source through Americanairsuspension.
Although not rides like a hydraulic suspension I am extremely please in the way my car handles and ride. When I first completed the installation I said what the he'll did I do. The car sat so high I was afraid, but within one day the suspension started to settle. The install when well, but the reassembling the rear was difficult. I would like to upload puctures, but forum settings is not letting me upload from my gallery. But trust me Strutmaster got it right.

I think they just use the 350 suspension parts. Too bad they don't make an adjustable height version for the V12 models.

I would not be able to verify that, but from previous post that I read the SL350 kit was not as durable. These shocks and springs are very beefy. The front spring is a variable rate spring with tighter coil at the top and bottom as compared to the middle . They claim for normal driving that you would not need sway bars.

I TO DID THE CONVERSION ABOUT 6 MO AGO COULDN'T BE HAPPIER BUT I ALSO CHANGED THE P/S PUMP SO I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING LEFT OF THE ABC SYSTEM NO MORE HOSES TO GO BAD AND LEAK...

I am using my existing pump. I will change only is it goes bad. Fifteen months ago I purchase brand new for dealer for $2065.00, then both valve block went bad. I rebuild them and replaced all nitrogen ball only to have front left drop again. I had enough. How I is your car handling curvey roads?

Which model Benz pump did you used? And did all of the bolt holes lined up?

You can buy on ebay 2001 sl500 pump very cheap bolts lineup fine handleing is as good as it was just no red light

The only pictures I took were immediately after installation and five days after. However, I was unable to upload them from my gallery. I will be talking new pictures through the forum app later this week
