what rims would look good an sl 500?????
i would like to get black rims with a polished lip on my sl500. i am wondering waht rims look good on there that i could either buy like that or have done in black. also what are some rims that jsut look good on them...my car is balck so i either want black or chrome rims. thanks

I wouldnt trust any shop to paint the wheels. Some of these wheels have special finishes and it is not easy to get a nice coat(s) of paint on it.
If you want nice wheels with custom paint finish, you gotta get HREs.

one of my customers has a slightly used set of Zauber Gettin 20" with tires in black (done in Japan at factory, not aftermarket) for sale of a 03 SL55, if you are interested please let me know.

I have HREs on my Z06 and the finish is incredible. They're 545Rs, charcoal centers, polished/cleared lip, 18x10/19x12:
I think that any of the custom wheel shops can do a good, black painted or powdercoated wheel... HRE, Fikse, Kinesis, etc.
