2005 SL55 SBC and stuck!
Nay's car just had a SBC brake error and wont come out of park.
My Xenrty system is out on loan..
Should I tow it to the dealer or my fav indy?

So far dealer diagnosed a bad alt and that was fixed at my indy. I picked up the car and the brakes 90 percent failed so right back to the dealer.
They just diagnosed a bad accelerator pedal at 2200.00. So Weds back to my indy.
We will see!

That should have been covered under the SBC warranty. You should contact MBUSA for reimbursement. Especially since the dealer mixed up the diagnoses. I wonder if that guy used to work for Audi? Remember the unintended acceleration issues they had that were eventually found to be driver error by confusing the accelerator pedal for the brake pedal?

Indy replaced the master and now the SBC pump failed. Back to dealer.
Looking at the warranty, the master should be covered. After all is done we will pass the bill onto MBA.

After third time to the dealer the car is fixed. SBC reservoir replaced under warranty.
Will contact MBA about MC replacement reimbursement.
