Does the R230 share the throttle pedal with any other cars?

Is the throttle pedal the same on any other vehicle?
Also how do I check the hydraulic fluid for the roof and is it is low how do I add more ? and what is the exact fluid I need?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Acid,
I doubt the throttle pedal is used on other vehicles, as the part number in my AMG starts with '230' so it is specific to this platform.
Does not mean you won't be able to use others and make them work. I have never heard of that happening.

You need to get good at using the search feature for this sub-forum. This info is here, and sometimes easy to find.
Punch in 'fill top fluid' and you will find the answers you need,

More than likely you will find 2 Allen screws to remove from the pump located in the trunk.
You can then use a syringe to slowly squirt the fluid, if required, to top up the fluid using CH11S.
PDF's attached. Save to your PC so you can help others in the future.

Happy New Year!

Somebody told me the Chrysler Crossfire shares a lot of parts with the R230 because Chrysler owned them at the time, I guess I was mistaken. I even heard you can use the throttle from that vehicle on it.
The only place I can find this stupid throttle pedal is on ebay and theres only 3 sellers for it with above average prices. Any suggestions?

You might make a point of purchasing from a vendor who offers returns.

I bought a new pedal recently and it did not include a kickdown switch. I installed the one from my old pedal into the new. Also, with full throttle one of the voltage signals was out of range. I did a little modification with electrical tape to make it work and needed Star Diagnosis to monitor the voltages from the pedal position sensor.
