Little update on my engine oil use, or lack of it.
I am into second oil change test with 0 - 40 oil now 6 month in ,or around with 2 oil change with 0 - 40 oil , 70 000 km total on my 07. Cant measure that engine use any oil at all. I tested oil sender , with fill low on oil ,last oil change, And that one say add oil. so nothing wrong with the sender.
I am on my 3 liter / q total on that car sinse 2015 with QMI teflon Engine treatment ,added 1 Q last oil change.
ABC system is very tight and solid , seems to me even little better after changed all oil on it, probaly never changed sinse car was new 07 .
Powersteering is changed all oil ,and added small bottle Qmi powersteering treatment .
I may add that we got a Aston Martin vantage V8, they know for make noice powersteering pump , added one small bottle Powersteering treatment QMI teflon, and sound gone in seconds. just amazing .
Hope all you guys doing ok.

Any updates from actual users? Has this made things better? Bought 4 bottles last fall before I put the car in storage. I'm ready to add it now the car is back on the road.

I just got my SL500 on the road today.
After 5 months and a few days, the car did settle over the winter, which is normal. Last May I flushed my ABC system, changed the ABC filter, and added about 4 ounces of Rislone Hydraulic Seal. Throughout the summer until November, I had no settling, with Rislone in my system. (I use to get a bit after a week or so).
I also noticed my hydraulic pump operating much quieter too.
While the vehicle was in my garage over the winter, it took about 7-8 weeks for the car to settle.
I live in the Pacific Northwest and could not get any of the QMI product, so went with Rislone Hydraulic Seal.
My logic after speaking with the rep was that it could only help my hydraulic system, which I feel it defiantly has.

is important is cold system, if its engine you want stop oil use, or sweating ,or its ABC , powersteering system also add some , then long drive so system get up to hot and nice. Let us know how it goes.

Hello Tommyboy928. I'm brand new to this Forum, and this thread. I just purchased a 2009 SL550 from private party here in Florida.
Previous owner flushed ABC fluid system last year but only 500 miles ago. I'd like to add 1 bottle (4oz) of Full Throttle to ABC for preventative maintenance. System has been working fine and previous owner had no issues, but I want to maintain system as long as possible and avoid costly repairs. I would also like to avoid a Coilover conversion down the road. Can I ask if this is the correct product to use for my ABC System?
https://www.servicechamp.com/p/FT40204
By the way, I've only had the Car for a week and the Vario Roof hydraulic cylinder started to leak down my passenger window. Ugh! I'm bringing the car to a local mechanic who has replaced the Roof Cylinder in the past by getting it rebuilt at Cabriolet Hydraulics in Florida. They have a coupler kit that avoids having to run the tubes throughout the car to the pump in the trunk. Very nice idea. Has anyone used this cylinder coupler system in their roof and had any issues?
By the way, it seems to make sense from reading this thread to add half a 4oz bottle of Full Throttle to my Roof Pump once roof cylinder is repaired. Would you agree?
Thanks!

Thank you for the reply! The sealer is from Full Throttle and number 40204. I'm not sure if this link below will open for you?
But the bottle says 'engine', yet it appears that this will work for Roof and ABC? (ABC and steering share same pump so adding this helps both systems, yes?)
I agree that it seems early for the roof cylinder to leak. I found a local mechanic to look at it tomorrow and he says that he has worked on many of these before. The previous owner had the car for 6yrs and says he hardly ever used the top. Maybe the seals are dry from non-use? Hopefully I'll find out tomorrow once the mechanic removes the roof liner and inspects the cylinder and hoses. Thanks again!

Hopefully I'll find out tomorrow once the mechanic removes the roof liner and inspects the cylinder. would not see mutch there, either it leaks or not , usage of the roof is better than not use it, but whats need for shure now is all your roof seals need be used conditioner on them . here is video

Hello Guys, I'm trying to get this product from Services Champ but when I tried to register, my account was not approved. Can somebody point me to any other direction where I can buy FT40204? I appreciate the OP for sharing this. Thank you.

Be careful when experimenting. I was going to try Lucas Hydraulic Oil Booster and Stop Leak. Lucas is a reputable company and maker of lubricants.
I decided to call their support department to check compatibility with Pentosin. The person I spoke with immediately told me it is not compatible, even though their literature says it works with all oils. Specifically, the two materials do not mix.

I am somewhat unhappy to report that after using the product (full 4oz bottle of the Multi-Sealer) in my ABC system for 2+ months now (500 miles), my slowly leaking front ABC strut is still leaking.
The positive news is.... the leak seems to be slower. At the beginning, there were a 1-2 drops of ABC fluid on the floor every night, now I am seeing 1-2 drops every 4-5 days. It's leaking less, but it is still leaking, and I am not sure if it will ever stop.
My ABC system is well maintained, the fluid is clean/fresh, the filter is new and the struts are not that old. They have no more than 35k miles on them.

I am thinking if my 2005 SL starts to give me problems, I will switch to a good coil over strut and do the conversion. My ride is just starting to get a touch bumpy which is probably the accumulators starting to fail. Way to complex of a system. We will see…..

qmi engine teflon treatment will reduce internal wear and same time reduce noice yes, some fuel saving also . less internal friction marginal more power. Frend of me ,just did teflon treatment on Audi 3 liter diesel, never seen the car under 0,6 liter per 10 km before on ecodriving , now 0,56 liter per 10 km .So he say teflon treatment work super.

@Tommyboy928 I'm 5K miles away from my next ABC service. What do you think is the better approach:
-Add the product to system, let it work for 5K miles and then change the fluid and filter?
or
-Add the product at the time of service and keep it in the system for the next 5 years / 25K miles?

I just added some QMI hydraulic sealer to my sl500 system. I ordered the liquid from Norway, the same ppl who make Royal Purple lubricant. The container was sent regular post and only cost $10 for shipping and it took less than 3 weeks to arrive. I'll report my findings in a few days. I also received my refurbished valve block in case I need it
