Thanks for the info. The clips are broken. Is that the part number on the file you posted?

That little flap breaks off on everyone's car for no apparent reason. It can not be purchased separately and is only had by purchasing the entire panel.

On the other R230 forums several solutions for repairing a broken flap have been discussed, and there is a seller on eBay of a repair kit. I do not know the I.D. of the seller, but he is mentioned in threads.

Lol, that's why I couldn't find them
can't he glue them back?

2005 R 230 SL350 (M112 3.7). Sold the 1966 W113 230SL recently
There’s heaps of info on this on the forum, on both repairs and prevention.
Notorious can’t-buy-separate item.
Look for ‘flaps’, ‘ears’, ‘trim pieces’ and similar.

In a word no. They have to hinge as part of the roof opening/closing process and once the hinges are bust that’s it.

There are various ways to try reattaching but glueing it back won’t work.

With glueing I mean special dual component cold soldering stuff you know, there are so many. but yes it looks like a nightmare
