Does anyone know if the R230 comes standard with bluetooth?

The Command System for that era is readied for Bluetooth but only for calls, not for music etc. Additionally you would need to have an interface, known as a “puck” plugged into the car. If you open the top section of the central armrest stowage you should see a receptor for the puck. It may have a plastic cover on it which just prises off. Once the puck is plugged in you should be able to pair your phone to the car with full functionality with your Command and Steering Wheel controls.

If you are trying to add Bluetooth for calls and/or music, below are threads with good info:

My car doesn't have the plastic cover, there is just a suede material lining and coin holder; and underneath there is just an empty bin. Any suggestions? Thank you.

@Nikolaos236 Bluetooth did not come standard, It sounds like you do NOT have the MHI connector, and cannot use a Mercedes Bluetooth "puck". However, I assume your Comand unit has the TEL buttons and that you have the CD Changer, and therefore you should be able to install the Mr. 12Volt (also known as LaPower) Bluetooth adapter for MOST (fiber) systems in place of the CD Changer (you would lose use of the CD Changer). The Mr. 12Volt is an aftermarket bluetooth adapter that plugs in the fiber loop of the MOST system (you would have to run the mic to the front of the car, but others have done it). The links above should give you enough info on how to install, especially this one: https://mbworld.org/forums/sl-class-...x-160-a-2.html

I think my 2009 has BT standard, not sure. Before bought the car the sales person hook up BT with his iphone so I assume works. I have an Android and did not try yet.
Bought the car about 2 months only drove 80 miles.
