The brake lines are all routed through the SBC module, so the fluid should be flushed through the system.
The SDS is only used to disable the SBC system, and turn it back on, when flushing the brake fluid.
Regarding the wheel spinning: If both back wheels are off the ground, you can spin the wheels in P or N. If only one back wheel is off the ground, the car must be in N.
