We could be your new friends. There are at least two R230s that live in Carson City, just a bit south of your location in Reno, NV. I have an 04 SL600, which I hope not to break. See attached pix.
R230s Forever! One R230 is not enough.
My first R230 is a 2004 SL600 with RennTech ECU, updated bosch intercooler pump and rear muffles delete. So fast it is INSANE. The SL550 will zoom and roar through a few gears, I look down and I'm going 65-70MPH; the SL600 in half that time does 90+ and EFFORTLESSLY. I have never had the gas pedal down more than about halfway. Even then, after 5 seconds you have to let up! I love the red with blacks interiors. Black Interiors Matter!!
I basically have the same thing done to my SL600, it is the Kleeman tune but everything else is the same. I am searching for a set of downpipes for a good price.

I'm quite far from you guys, but still have SL 600. Probably the only one, that had spent several years on the Polar loop before I got it from the previous owner.
