disatronic assist alarm keeps going off
Sitting in the parking lot and the side alarms go off while driving no cars in front or behind and they go off,, how do i turn off the annoying beeping sound.
2004 sl500 i have adjusted the roller dial to the closest and the furthest and i have turned off the Distance warning function* on/off switch, and that makes no difference i have a long drive tomorrow and really its annoying

Also try cleaning off the sensors that are on the front and rear bumper

I tried the button and I have washed my car completely the other day and it didn’t help. Is there a fuse or something. Maybe a bad sensor but with so many how do you narrow it down?

You'll need a Chinese-cloned Star Diagnosis or its equivalent to troubleshoot this. Meanwhile, you can pull the 5-amp fuse which powers the Parktronic controller:

The tpms reads the tire pressures but the recalibrate earring still comes on. I have 4 new sensors I was going to replace them. But that shouldn’t have anything to do with the parking sensors right.

Most owners get their Star Diagnosis from aliexpress.com, though some get it from dhgate.com or eBay. Navigating any site and trying to make a purchase decision is a daunting task. If you are seriously considering a purchase and have about $300 to spend, then at your request I'll have a brief look around and offer a suggestion or two. That said, the last suggestion I made didn't work out so well, as the member received a multiplexer which failed after only a few uses.
