folding roof problem

Dear experts, the roof of the car did not open, while looking for a problem,
I found that there was not enough hydraulic fluid left in the tank.
I filled up to normal and the roof started to work.
After I closed the roof, this liquid began to drip in the place above the driver.
This lasted for about 30 min. After that, the leak stopped.
Tell me which hydraulic cylinder I need to check first.

Your problem is clear. The cilinder (or an attachment to it, not very likely) controlling the locks above the windscreen is faulty. There is probably an oil bath on your roof liner, so you need to be very careful as you take the roofliner off. The oil has the nasty habit of wrinkling the 'felt' liner along the tip of your side windows, so save those if you can.

I did a thread on how to fix this with step a step and photos. A search will bring it up for you. Read through as there is a comment for a better shaft seal.

I suggest sending your cylinder to Top Hydraulics. They'll renew all of the seals and o-rings for just $65.
