SL/R230: Keyless-Go not working
I have replaced the batteries in both key fobs with no effect.
I've checked fuse 58 and it's fine.
I'm about to purchase a relay to check relays B and C, as one document I saw indicates that they are related to Keyless-Go.
If the problem turns out to be the Keyless-Go module, does anyone know where it is located?
Any help would be appreciated.

Does that help?

If you have a Mercedes specific scan tool, it should have numerous tests for Keyless Go. The first one is to locate your key on the center console. If it doesn't find it there, you have some issue with the system (key, module, antenna, etc.).
The module is under the left side trunk paneling. I have seen them get water damaged. Even though it should be a 'dry' area, any leak would run directly into the case and pool at the bottom. Not a great design in that regard.

Does one need a scan tool to see if the key is registered to the car on the center console? I do have a ThinkDiag, which can do an amazing number of things on my 2017 Porsche 911, perhaps I will try that.
I might also see if I can take a look at that module and see if it shows any signs of corrosion.
Thanks for your help.
