SL/R231: V8 Bi-Turbo badges

V8 Bi-Turbo badges
Anyone know where I can get a hold of the AMG V8 Bi-Turbo badges? I think they look great on the AMG model, and the SL550 just looks weird with no badges on those side grills. Best part is both cars have a V8 Biturbo so no poser status 
I think that is the first mod I want to do on this car, that and figure out a way to change the light bulbs so that orange line in the headlight is white (already sucks you can't do anything about the orange side markers built into the headlight
)
BTW I take delivery of my White/Red packaged end of the month!

Can't the Bi-Turbo emblems be bought at a Mercedes dealer? I bought "427" hood badges for my Z06 at my Chevy dealer. They used to come on a special edition Z06. Now they are on the new 427 Corvette convertible. They even come with a template for exact positioning.
There were non-exact copies on eBay but why buy copies when for a few dollars more you can get the OEM part.
It may cost more but I'd check at the parts counter before I'd add non original M-B parts on my car. After market stuff is cool. Don't get me wrong. However if the factory part is available, why save a few bucks?

Here's what I did. On the right rear trunk I put T U R B O V 8. The TURBO letters are slightly shorter in height than the V8 letters. The V8 letters are the same style and size as the S L 5 5 0 letters on the left rear trunk. The balance is perfect. I did not go with B I dash since would not balance and be too much signage. The letters come separately which is important...(1) that area of the trunk is slightly curved and a one-piece emblem will not lay flat and (2) you can arrange it TURBO V8 or V8 TURBO, your choice.

The emblem is "V8 BIturbo" and has tape on top and bottom so you can place without worrying about the spacing on individual letters. I just seperated the "V8" from the "Biturbo" so i could place the "V8" about the "Biturbo" as is done on the AMG version. Looks great but haven't had the emblems on for long so I can't attest for their durability. I did wipe the car well with 70% alcohol before attaching and used pressure to ensure good attachment. Seems to be firmly attached.
