I had those wheels installed almost immediately (silver, not black). More importantly, they will ride differently as the wheels are forged and he will most likely will have straight performance tires on it instead of the stock run-flats.
I use Michelin Pilot Super Sports which are available in that configuration. The car feels more light footed.
The ET is negligible btw, partially due to the wider rear wheel. I actually installed spacers front and rear in addition as I felt that the wheels are too deep inside the wheel wells.

Motor of right window makes a loud noise when going up...
In 3 weeks car goes to dealer for some changes, new SL65 rims en check up for that window.
Looking forward for better weather. I ll drive the S class in the meantime.

A young girl hit my SL last week.
Broken bumper and broken AMG rim - right backside.
Dammage will be repaired in two weeks.
I made the discission to go with some AMG conversion of the front and interior at the same time as well.

Anyways, replacing the front clip is a great improvement as the 63 has a smaller looking grill and better front facia. Maybe add the carbon fiber trim which looks great with a silver car.
Please take pictures when you do the interior/exterior upgrades!

Those SL65 wheels really make a difference and it looks like you have the spoiler on the deck lid also. Nice

Much better. It makes a significant difference IMO. I now have the stock 19" AMG wheels on the car with snow tires and the car looks less sporty...

I don't think there is a fitting 19" set in the PSS, so the 295 should work. Otherwise I would get the Potenza RE050A's
