Curious to see how that will look, since the ET values are a bit different right ?

Much better. It makes a significant difference IMO. I now have the stock 19" AMG wheels on the car with snow tires and the car looks less sporty...

I had those wheels installed almost immediately (silver, not black). More importantly, they will ride differently as the wheels are forged and he will most likely will have straight performance tires on it instead of the stock run-flats.
I use Michelin Pilot Super Sports which are available in that configuration. The car feels more light footed.
The ET is negligible btw, partially due to the wider rear wheel. I actually installed spacers front and rear in addition as I felt that the wheels are too deep inside the wheel wells.

A young girl hit my SL last week.
Broken bumper and broken AMG rim - right backside.

Dammage will be repaired in two weeks.

I made the discission to go with some AMG conversion of the front and interior at the same time as well.

Sorry to hear that! Had a girl run into our BMW last week as well. Active headrest popped which also de-activated the cars ignition (wouldn't start anymore).Very annoying...

Anyways, replacing the front clip is a great improvement as the 63 has a smaller looking grill and better front facia. Maybe add the carbon fiber trim which looks great with a silver car.

Please take pictures when you do the interior/exterior upgrades!

Those SL65 wheels really make a difference and it looks like you have the spoiler on the deck lid also. Nice

This is a rendering of an SL63 with the right color, callipers and rims .

I will not install the spoiler on the deck lid, badges and black mirrors.

That's the carbon fiber package. I do like the carbon fiber on the front bumper, as compared to the aluminum.

Take pictures when the update is completed! Am curious about the shifter

I'm running into same issue with Michelin's, I been told there is a two to three months production delay from Michelin, I been told that 295's will fit and I told them to order the 295's, they assure me that there won't be any fitment issues...we shall see I guess.

I just bought another set from tire rack. They had them in stock, although in different warehouses. Still listed as the best tires for the SL, provided you have the 19" front/20" rear set.
I don't think there is a fitting 19" set in the PSS, so the 295 should work. Otherwise I would get the Potenza RE050A's
