I would like to buy an R231 edition 1 in 2014. 
I drive a W211 and V221.
Prefererend options:

So there are SL edition 1 with different additional options. Many without the Distronic.
So I wonder wich options are essential.

For European top-down driving, the windscreen is essential as is the Air Scarf and heated seats because it really extends the usable top-down time in spring and fall. Seat cooling is pretty worthless on any MB except the W222 where they changed the functional design and it actually feels like it cools a bit.
Designo is never essential but nice but I think was included in all Edition 1 package cars. Same for the AMG body package which is included in all US SL's (in Europe it's part of a AMG body/wheel package for something like $10k).
I love the dynamic seats with massage function. Other may disagree, but to me, those are essential
Rear view camera is easy to skip as a nice to have feature. A 360 degree camera option is much more valuable as it can protect from expensive bumper repairs...
Most important option in my mind that you didn't list is the TT V8 engine in the SL500 versus the SL350. The other one is Keyless Go. That seemed optional in Europe as well...

Does the SL come with a 360 degree camera option?! I saw this in a 7 series BMW and thought it was really nice.

No. I was speaking more as a general benefit and wish they would offer it. The MB 360 degree camera system is much better than the one I have in our BMW 750. That one has 5 cameras but is split up into side views and then top and rear view. No actual front view which I would like the best (to save your lower front bumper)...

I don't recall but does the Designo also come with the Dynamica headliner?

Congratulations!! It's a perfect time in Europe for convertibles.
I was wondering if the flash made the red so bright. Ours was darker in real life. Plus you have the red armrests and steering wheel. Here is a pic of ours (now gone).

It think that your car had the same leathercolor.
Steeringwheel, all armrests are red, backside behind seats also.
I have a very busy week.

I love that interior color and the designo steering wheel! The wheel is NOT heated, correct?
Does it say AMG at the bottom of the steering wheel too? I love all the detail sof that interior.

Great pic! I might want to suggest putting some spacer on the SL wheels.MB is now having very high offsets and the wheels don't really fill out the wheel wells of the SL. I did that on ours and it looks great even when not lowered.
Or get some different wheels...
