Low dust brake pads? SL400?
I am really enjoying the SL400, but I have to say, the brake dust is a PITA, especially since California water restrictions went into effect limiting vehicle washing. The only way I've found to clean it is with soap and water.
I was wondering if anyone made low-dusting front brake pads for the SL400?
I had ceramic pads installed on a prior car to deal with the dusting issue and they great, less dust, no squealing and worked well.

I have the Racing brake pads. They work very well. It is my understanding that they only work for the AMG wheels and brakes which I have on my car. If you have that and they are the same as the SL550 then I can vouch for the fact that they work very well. If you want to consider them, I would call them and talk to one of their service advisers. They have helped me on both a BMW and this car to greatly reduce the brake dust and provide excellent stopping power.

I have a CTS-V and the brake dust was ridiculous. I could not go more than 2 days and the front wheels were black. This spray works great. I can go weeks now and they are still super shiny.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have been using Simple Green which works but doesn't last all that long.

I have been using this stuff for over a year and it works great. I have yellow brake calipers and it even keeps the dust off of them. Make sure you leave it dry for an hour after you spray them.

Since SL400 is new so we are not sure if it uses the same pads as SL550. Anyone knows?

We have ET500 brake pads made for CTS-V, if it's a 6/4-pot calipers we have them here:
