I have the standard MB sound system - I don't get the point of a high end system with all the road noise ( my roof is down 95% of the time) - I ticked almost every box when I ordered my SL but, no sound upgrade. Also, depending on your age, you are not going to hear any benefit on an expensive system. My ears are shot from hours on the shooting range and loud music before we were really knowledgeable about the damage sustained noise causes.

Hear ya on that, same as you but add in riding MC without ear protection for many years.
