2013 SL550 F/S 12,900 Miles, Mars Red, Loaded-GORGEOUS!
DUE TO A MAJOR PROJECT COMMENCING SOON AT OUR HOME, I AM IN NEED OF GARAGE SPACE. SO, I HAVE RECUCED THE PRICE TO $49,995.00.
Please see photo of window sticker for list of options. The car has only 12,900 miles and has never been in an accident or painted, never smoked in, no pets. I purchased it CPO. The previous owner had SL63 exhaust resonators installed. These give you a low rumble on start up and are otherwise pretty much unnoticeable, unless you jump on the throttle, which will give you a pleasant ROAR! As I understand it, these resonators cost over $3,000.00 with installation. A factory rear spoiler was also installed. The car recently had a B service done at MB Laguna Niguel. It has near new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ conventional tires that were put on at 10,998 miles. The wheels, by the way are genuine, MB 18” and not 19” as shown on the sticker. Also, the tires are conventional, “non run flat tires,” which with 18” wheels gives this SL a much improved ride over the original set up. The car has been “debadged,” with no “SL550” on the trunk, but I have a new factory set of numerals that go with the car. The car drives like brand new, with zero issues. Clear title in hand. $49,995.00.
Please PM me if interested. The car is in Newport Beach, CA.

A fellow is supposed to be flying out from Texas to see the car, buy it and drive it home this weekend. So, for the time being, I am holding the car for him.

We are looking at doing a major addition to our home. It would require the demolition of the garages and we would be without garages for about a year. The good news, is that we would end up with a six car garage. So, I won’t be ordering a 2019. Maybe a 2020, or a new model, whenever that comes out. In the mean time, I’ll be following the CPO listings for a Mars Red 2017 with ABC and very low miles. Should such a car come along, I’ll rent a garage for it, but I’m not holding my breath.

I see there is a local 2017 SL550 with ABC with 16k miles. $128k list for $83k which can easily be negotiated down by a good bit (have a good relationship with them). It's Cardinal Red though.

Additions to the home are always rewarding after the fact with a lot of hassle and inconvenience in the process. Good luck!!

I appreciate the thoughts Wolf and I know some folks love the Cardinal Red Metallic, but to me, that color looks way more orange than red, much of the time. I’m a big fan of solid colors, as opposed to metallics. Anyway, if I were willing to settle for something other than Mars Red, I’d order a new one, probably silver, like yours, but not until I have a garage to keep it in. Hopefully, we will hear that the R232? will be coming with a retractable hardtop. If so, that will probably be my next SL.
