THAT is the car I would have sold my soul to the devil for! That was the MB “Ocean Drive,” 4-door, S Class based, Cabriolet. It was a one off concept car, built in 2007. Instead, MB built the S Class, 2-door Cabriolet, which I never really cared for. Our friend Wolfman points out that the Ocean Drive would have been very difficult to engineer. To that, I always say that THAT’S exactly why MB should have done it, to display their engineering prowess to the world. The car would have been an amazing “halo” car that would have been coveted by anyone seeking the ultimate luxury convertible. IMHO, it would have absolutely shamed the Rolls-Royce Dawn, and I love the Dawn. Imagine, a 4-door, big, spacious, ultra lux convertible!
And the mirrors even look like they would make production. Kind of a tell on one time exotics if they are even close to production ready are the slits for mirrors - these look like they would easily be converted to full production. What amazing color palette for this thing OMG I likey- and those wheels- I would need a serious aquatic tool to clean those - (I like cleaning my own cars...)
For your reference, I've attached a link to 4 different manufacturer's procedures for bedding in the new discs and pads successfully. Until this is done, the brakes will not perform correctly.

Looks terrific and I’m sure you’re very happy and ready to handle any sudden stops on PCH. For those who don’t wish to or can’t go whole hog, isn’t there a company making ceramic pads for use with OEM steel rotors?
