Bumping this thread to see if anyone has any updated experience with the Magic Wiper system.
I replaced my washer motor myself about 2-3 years ago and performance improved for about a year and then stopped working (the washer part) completely. I took my car to an Indy shop and they installed a new washer motor this past summer (2023). I tried it in their lot when I picked up the car and passenger side was decent, driver’s side almost nill. I tried them again in October when I shipped my car to its winter home in Florida and no washer spray on either side.
Obviously I don’t use the car that much and even less in sloppy weather where the washer might come in handy. Still, I’d like to get the washer working as it’s supposed to. Hoping someone here has some positive experience.

I recently replaced my wipers in an attempt to increase the amount of fluid to the driver's side. New wipers performed exactly the same. I am of the opinion that this is by design as the passenger side wiper does push fluid to the driver side.

I tend to agree that by design more fluid is released on the passenger side but my issue is I’m not getting any fluid out of either side. A new pump was installed only about 6 months ago. I’m starting to think that the problem is in the hose(s) from the reservoir to the wipers. I’m looking (hoping) to find someone that has had this same issue and solved it.

Some hint for you guys if you are not willing to pay 180 bugs for some magic wiper blades.
I always disassembled these friends and changed the rubber slice only. You get this rubber piece in the aftermarket shop for about 10 bugs. Invest 15 minutes and your wiper are new ones for 1/18 of the mercedes price.
Did this the last 6 years every year and always had a clear view
You need to remove the two black plastic end caps, then you can remove both metal rails (dont know if this is the right word lol), which is the heating of the wiper blades. Put the new rubber between and put it together and back into the mounting frame. Little bit tricky but no big deal to reassemble!

Metsche

I'm on my third set and only paid for the first set thanks to FCP Euro. I replace them about every 6 months.
