Curious what would be the largest size tire I can put on my 2018 SL550 I have the stock 19” wheels, they are due to be replaced soon and I would like a little wider tread but don’t want any issues rubbing. Suggestion would be greatly appreciate.

Anyone wishing to upsize rear only on their facelift, Non-AMG R231's, and/or using the 14 blade turbine style wheels (see below).
The W223's use a 10"x20" ET48.1 rear wheel. (1st pic) same size (or darn close) as the forged AMG 10 blade wheels. (10x20 ET48 with 285/30ZR20's ) (3rd pic)
I would always double check, but, should be an easy swap, especially as they become more prevalent in the secondary/used marketplace.

looking at 275/30/19 for the front, doing tire size comparison its just a little smaller in height and .8” wider. Any reason why no one ha up sized the front on the SL?
