2022 AMG SL63
This is from Car and Driver for the 0-60. Note the skidpad as well. I think the 620 came from actual dyno figures at Weistec but I don't really know:

Looks like the previous amg steering wheel with the Blackberry style trackpad, I think they are just taking what used to be great with MB and putting it on their new car. Smart move I would say, over the controversial capacitive touch everything on the steering wheel.

Post Removed because I realized I just echoed two forum member's post by mistake, meaning it was already stated... twice.

It is good to complain especially if manufacturers listen, for example Porsche brought back the inline-6 in the Cayman when fans weren't pleased with them removing it, it doesn't help when the four cylinder wasn't more efficient either.

They did bring it back, but only for the top most expensive not GT model. What use to be standard at ~$65k is now a $30k upcharge in reality starting at right under $100k.

That is true, you are right but at least it revs to 8K for the GT4 and 9K for the GT4 RS, unless that was also standard on the non GT trim prior to the turbocharged four cylinders?

I believe the old 981 Boxster and Cayman engines revved to 7800rpm. The Boxster and Cayman have never been cheap, but they were a fun way to have a more "affordable" Porsche sports car with a howling flat-six. Now you pretty much are stuck with a 6-figure minimum to get a flat-six in a 718 or 911. And the 718 will soon be gone in the way of the next-generation EV 718.

Hmmm 7800 doesn't sound too bad. Speaking of that 6-figure minimum, I heard you can't even get an allocation even if you have money, it is reserved to VIP customers? Fair to say it went from a "mainstream" Porsche to a much more limited and "true" brand enthusiast car.

Yes I heard about Cayman and Macan going fully electric indeed, oh well, from ICE straight to electric and didn't bother going mild-hybrid first. I mean that explains why the Macan got an additional facelift for this generation.

Looks like the 2025 GT 43 is revealed with RWD and 416 hp. So more than the SL 43 and less weight (I am assuming?) than the SL 43 because of no 4MATIC?

MB priced these things during the stimulus/PPP induced spending craze and their economists thought it would never end...not. Looks are certainly subjective but seeing and driving both in person I can say the MB wins in the looks dept, especially when it's in the classic MB silver/black with the split spoke black rims with machined silver lip...yummy. Performance was a bit disappointing esp. for the M8 (121 mph traps seems off to me), and the AMG's output appears to be way underrated by about 75 hp for the #'s it produced with its heft comp'd to the BMW's.

M8 convert + model Y
Google:

The BMW M8 has an electronically limited top speed.
The 2025 BMW M8 Competition Convertible has a top speed of 155 mph, but with the M Drivers Package and performance tires, it can reach 190 mph.

Our M8 definitely went faster than 155mph. $2500 M drivers package also included the 1 day M driving session which was a lot of fun but it also showed of how fast the engine heat soaked. Those M5 LCI couldn’t keep the power for that long and driving the car on the track without AC is a bit distracting

The car should be have 650 hp in stock form. The Pro just stepped it up to what the E63s always had…
