SUMMARY Mercedes-Benz AG ("MBAG"), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year ("MY") 2021-2023 GLE/GLS (167 platform), C-Class (205, 206 platform), E-Class (213 platform), S-Class (223 platform), SL (232 platform), E-Class Coupe/Convertible (238 platform), GLC (253 platform), CLS (257 platform), AMG GT 4-doors Coupe (290 platform) and G-Class (463 platform) vehicles, the fuel pump impeller might not meet current specifications in regards to material characteristics. As a consequence, the impeller might deform and therefore come into contact with the fuel pump housing, leading to a mechanical resistance. In some instances, this could lead to a shutdown of the fuel pump. As a result, the vehicle could lose propulsion, which could increase the risk of crash or injury. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealershipwill replace the fuel delivery module on the affected vehicles.
CONSEQUENCE As a consequence, the impeller might deform and therefore come into contact with the fuel pump housing, leading to a mechanical resistance. In some instances, this could lead to a shutdown of the fuel pump. As a result, the vehicle could lose propulsion, which could increase the risk of crash or injury.
REMEDY An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership will replace the fuel delivery module on the affected vehicles.

The first rep insisted my email was incorrect, it's been SL600SL560 since 1994!!! I decided to try to email MBUSA, except the link to the email doesn't list an email. I accessed the recall page for MBUSA, I entered my VIN. The message below seems to be in conflict with the letter I received.
I remember when MB customer service was great. The MB is now run by clown college graduates.

VIN: WDDJK7KAXFF030387There are no recalls for your vehicle at this time.I think you posted in the wrong forum.
Also, I am not sure if the link on the MB website lists all campaigns, as compared to actual safety recalls.
If you received the letter, you will have a recall or campaign number which is what matters.

I know this is not the R231 forum, it was my attempt to further highlight the utter incompetence we all face. Perhaps you are correct in stating that the MB website is only a partial list of recalls. I believe if one puts in their VIN, it most certainly should display a comprehensive list. The message displayed, "There are no recalls for your vehicle at this time." I can't discern any specificity that would limit type of recall.
Many R232 owners have reported some degree of confusion with the fuel pump "recall".........it appears as business as usual.
I recently spoke to an owner of a midwest MB dealership I asked about the R232. He expressed exasperation over the flawed introduction, myriad electrical problems and confusion over the fuel pump recall. He stated in his decades of experience, this has been the most problematic car he's ever sold and places the blame on the parent company. Dealerships want happy customers to remain customers, not engage in damage control. I hope MB gets their act together.
