Beautiful New 2022 SL 55 AMG added to my small fleet!
I have a problem, I can't stop buying cars and trading them every 2-3 years. I recently traded a flawless 2016 S 550 Coupe (fully loaded) for this super sexy 2022 SL 55. The fleet is now: 2022 SL 55 (AKA Bumble Bee), 2020 AMG GT 53 (AKA Blue Dream), GL 550 (The Kid Hauler). The power in this car is absurd. Even after Renntech tuning the S550 coupe, this just feels like a different beast. I never liked SLs until they changed it to the R232 model.
It was a buy back. Something about the distronic. The MB paperwork claims the issue was resolved and it still has factory warranty.
I would have kept the S Coupe, but I don't have enough driveway space and I don't need yet another car to maintain. The S Coupe was much gentler. Though putting it in sport mode, suspension was perfect and it was pushing 500 HP with my Renntech tune. It was a beast. But, it was showing it's age when I started looking at newer models. I'm a Technology Executive, so I'm big on tech. While advanced for it's time (and likely more reliable) it was time for something newer.
I'm not normally into bright colors for my cars, I tend to prefer the off-white. I used to do strictly black but they're too hard to maintain. And to the comment the color screams arrest me now. You are ABSOLUTELY right let's just say I'm a "spirited" driver and this thing sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm hoping it doesn't ruin my perfect driving record!

I was originally looking at a yellow, but I was concerned it was a color I could get bored with easily and the dealer wanted to play chicken on pricing that was a bit too high.

Honestly, I prefer pearl white. I didn't go lookin' for yellow, yellow found me. Thanks again.
