SL 63 AMG battery drain problem

My 2022 SL 63 AMG requires trickle charging every night to keep the starter battery charged. Has the battery drain problem been fixed on the 2025 or 2026 models?

My wife’s 2023 SL55 AMG also requires the trickle charger on it all the time it’s not being driven. No idea if it’s better on the newer ones, but I’m betting not. Too much drain with all the electronics.

2023 SL63
We bought our SL63 in June but it had been sitting for just on two years in MB New Zealand stock so it arrived in New Zealand in 2023.
It only lasted two days without giving a Low Battery Notification and then a Battery Critical notification 5 minutes later when we first received the car.
It spent 2 week in the Service dept and then again lasted two days without low battery notifications when we got it back, it spent a total of 6 weeks in the service dept and this time was ok for two weeks.
I drove it again this morning but the brakes locked as I tried to drive it out the garage and they locked again as I entered the garage and it is now showing a Speed Heavily Limited message that I have to tap to remove to get it to move every time I want to drive it out of the garage.
It was not previously doing this, is this happening to anyone else.

The next day it operated as per normal.
