dad's project pt.1

thx to Kartoyz in freemont, ca....dad is pretty happy with his ride....brabus front add on spoiler, cf rear diffuser, HRE 841R full polish on PS2's, and lowered with the brabus module.

i love the front lip....really cant see the rear diffuser. Very nice. Not a big fan of HRE's, but how much do they weigh? That might change my mind.

nineteens average around 20-21 lbs in the 5xx R series, so should be similar to that if those are 19s.

I think those are 20's. Does anybody know whether you have to add a lowering module to put 20's on a 55?

Wow, 20-21 lbs?? That's light for a 19in rim! I always thought the HRE were heavy, heavy wheels....

Their competition series are even 1 to 2 lbs lighter and use titanium fasteners to bring the rotational mass of the wheel closer to the hub.

I thought HRE's were heavy as well until I picked one up one day. I could literally pick up one 19" wheel with one or two fingers, but add in the weight of the whole wheel and tire than we have a different situation.

That is a great color!!

Its hard to make out the difference in the rear diffuser. That splitter should help high speed stability....although stock the SL55 is rock solid at speed.
