What year is your car?

Most all the problems have already been sorted out with, or they'll be sorted out with within a week. If nothing happens, then drive hard

The car is solid as anything; have fun!

Check for any campaigns at the dealer for recalls on one of the shafts. I forgot specifically.

Also if you have a sloshing sound, tell the dealer to replace your gas tank.

Other then that though, that should be all of it. You might have some wind noise but some decent rubber seals will fix that, your dealer can take care of that for you.

Most everything can be fixed at the dealer, go figure. It should all be under warrenty as well as they are manufacturer defects.

Since it was straight from the dealer. Would that all be taken care of already?

Depends. If it was a pre-owned car, it might have already been taken care of.

Thumbs up Congratulations!

May she treat you as sweetly as she looks!

Love the look of the turbine wheels, hate to wash them.

Enjoy the ride,
Greg

Not to bring anything negative to the table but I think the turbine wheels are the most unattractive wheels ever put on a stock sportscar. maybe being in LA I'm jaded by everyone throwing 8K worth of new wheels on their SLs but man those wheels make me cringe when you know how much better the 55 looks with any one of a large assortment of wheels. Just my 2 cents. Congrats on the ride! Check this car out for comparison: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4553589106

I have the same wheels and thought the same thing about washing them, but I find it very easy with the right size/shape brush.

Yeah the wheels are a pain. I am thinking of getting HRE's or some nice BBS's

yeah, i'm not a fan of the wheels either - too busy...detracts from the simple, aggressive lines of the car IMO.

If you go to Griot's Garage web site, they have a great wheel brush that will make cleaning the turbine wheel very easy.
