My first kill, a BMW Z3 by proxy.
My neighbor in this industrial park drives a BMW Z3. He likes to talk about he really "gets on it" when taking off. I went for a short mail run in my now broken in SL55, and saw him outside talking on his cell phone. I pulled up and asked if he wanted to check it out on the way to the post office. This guy is pushing 60, and he got in and away we went. The exit from the park opens up onto a nice tree lined straightaway, perfect for a top down rush with the trees blurring by at the road edges, like shooting through a green tunnel. I rolled onto the highway and came to a stop and said "are you ready?" Yup. At that I launched really hard, with slight wheel spin at the start, not enough for ESP to bother with. I let the rush of second gear come on before I ran out of road, and put on the clampers. I brought it down to about 20 as quickly as I could. I said "what do you think?" The poor guy looked like he was having a coronary, with the strangest sounds and gasps coming from him. I thought he was going to puke. After the short ride to the post office he got out to walk around, WHEW! I sure didn’t want him to stay in the car. I took it easy on the way back. I guess the SL55 has a little more punch than his Z3.

He’s an okay guy, but a bit crude around the edges. He took a lot of razzing from some of the Harley people in the park, as well as his secretary.
The Z3 is an upgrade for him; he used to drive a Miata until his friends started taunting him about driving a “chicks” car. (The actual word they used began with a “c” but was not chicks)
