Do you have a dyno graph of the 671 RWHP? That's the highest I have seen for a -65 car.

How did you get that power up so high? The car comes blown from the factory...did you increase the boost and upgrade the pulleys?

Seriously!? That's enough to make me think of picking one up myself...

What mods do you have on the Ford?

well i all started when....

i picked up a ford gt new in september.. 05 for 156k

dyno stock was 525hp and 496tq at wheel
then i remapped the computer and got 545 and 510
then i bought a 400 $ pulley to get to 632rwhp and 596rwtq
then i bought racing exhaust and MAFia remap and went to 671 and 640
then i bought some race gas 100 octane and got a smaller pulley to pump 20 psi and nuw i find myself at 720 and 720 roughly

all this for approx 3500 $

not counting labor

the car weight is approx 3000 LBS

and at this rate the 1/4 mile time should be (IF DRIVEN WELL in the high 9/s or low 10's

i will be at track next weekend..

my next stop is the new whipple supercharger 3.3 liter that should bgive me approx another 100 hp at wheel

dont forget the nitrous option is also there if you need it.. for cheap

i love at this stage racing various HYABUSA's OR GSXR1000's

or any supra out there .. my sl 65 has a lot of power but it is really heavy and i sunk 30 k into it to get (SOME) extra hp...

FOR GT IS REALLY FRIENDLY TO DRIVE AND VERY CONNECTED TO THE RACE OR TO THE GROUND FOR THAT FEEL.. MY SL65 MERCEDES REALLY NEVER WAS

if you want to see some videos of ford gt racing then go to

Ford GT Rocket
You have really got a rocket with the GT are there traction issues in each gear? I know that the mid edgine give you a great advantage. Just curious and looks like you are having a blast.

Would love to see the pics of the SL

Sheesh - the ford GT just made it onto my shopping list. Those videos were insane -- a near-stock car with 700 RWHP. Yow.

I'm not selling my SL65, however

I just checked KenneBell's web site, and they didn't list a supercharger upgrade yet - just a pulley+snout upgrade (itself good for quite a bit of power!). Whose S/C package are you using?

Response to show me.
That a boy Joe nothing like standing up to a challenge. If you don't want to come and run. Then don't talk.

It is great that you have the time money and ability to make your GT a rocket.

I have a question regarding your SL65. Did you get the lowering module? If so was there a dramatic difference in the handling after it was installed. The SL55 does not feel that heavy in the backroads of Northern California due to the ABC traction control I am suprised that the 65 felt sluggish or unconnected to you. Granted it is a lot heavier but I thought that by lowering the car you reduced quite a bit of roll thus increasing feel and understeer characteristics.

Can't wait to hear the RWPH results after the whipple. Do you know anyone that has installed on and have the tested it at the track? Be careful more power more breakage..

no i think i am going to be the first one out there with the whipple

regarding the unconnected nature of my 65 .. what i mean is that the steering is not very direct and the computer control/ delay in flooring the car and the simple feel of bumps on the road are a lot more prevalent in my GT

yes i did put the lowering module but the handling to me was very close to stock...

thanks
