SL55 in mystic red
Has anyone seen or got pics of the SL55 in mystic red, its a desingo colur looks like a deep burgundy ,I am looking to order a new face lifted SL55 but am stuck on the colour choice and there are no samples here in Aus.
It appears that everyone in Aus either orders black or silver.

This is what I have, snap25 --

Four sets. This one is I think called Barolo Red over here in the States:

I don't think that this is the red you're talking about - and don't know what it is called either:

Last set. This was callled Bordeaux Red Metallic last year - and this is what I would guess is more in the vein of what you're talking about:

Bordeaux Red Metallic...thats it !... thanks for the pics.
I think it looks really great (and different), my wife believes the lighter colours do the car more justice especially with its great lines and prefers silver....

That's what I thought from your description - but wanted to cover every base I could for you (LOL).

Bordeaux Red Metallic: awesome color, and any Benz looks great in it IMO.

Your SL55 will rock in that color, and yet still look 'classy'.

Mystic Red
None of the pictures posted above are Mystic Red. The first is Barolo, the second looks like Mars Red, the third is definitely Mars Red, and the fourth looks like Bordeaux. Mystic Red is a MUCH deeper and richer shade, and is only available through the designo program.

BTW, paint code is 037 designo mystic red.
