A dealership telling his customers to wait...

Congrats. It is going to be a great car and you will enjoy the Sirius on those long Sunday drives out in the boonies, like over to the North Rim. I really doubt that the antenna will be a problem. It certainly is not one for me.

The some of the 63's have already made their offical world debut this month. The first of 63's perhaps CLK's, ML's and CLS's are due later this year from what I hear. The SL 63 will probably be made available for MY 2008 and may have even more power than the standard 6.2's.

It is certainly not the norm for a dealer doing what's in the customers best interest, but it's refreshing none the less...

I don't keep a car much more than a year or so. Looks like the timing might be perfect to have this one and trade it in on the new Model when it arrives.

I'd give the new one 2 full MY years to get all the bugs out. FYI, a car broker I'm dealing with mentioned the 6.2 for the SL may even get turbo's for the extra power. Either way you've got the best of the 55's on order and as I mentioned in my first post in this thread, the touches for the engine in 07 sound good. Congrats again.

I would not even look at the SL63 unless it was turbocharged. Turbocharging is an efficient & inexpensive way of getting huge gains from any engine. "V8 BITURBO" badges someday!!!

The car has been officially entered into production. Nothing can be changed.

That's hard for me

Renntech says the Factory Throttle Body upgrade in the 07 SL55 is like RennTechs.

The RennTech Throttle Body upgrade no longer applies to the 07 55 motor.
