If you've never had a Ferrari...then you should do it! It is very special, but I guess I am kind of jaded. I have been around Ferrari's and Maranello since before the old man died, and the spirit is definitely different. The new cars are just cars....they aren't that exotic anymore. They are massed produced and over produced. Maybe I am just being 'old' but Ferrari really isn't Ferrari anymore. That is one of the reasons I have been selling my cars.

Get the G used and someone else took the depreaciating hit. Drive it for a year and roll it over with a lot less lo$$. Sit in it and drive it first. The ergonomics are not right for everybody. That's why I jumped on the 997TT.

PA has some great back roads...I love driving there.

Maybe you are a better driver than all the Fcar guys I know, but I have left them for dead in the SL55....on windy roads, straights and the track. No contest...you can put a 360CS on that kill list as well........on a canyon road.

Over modding and trying to re-engineer what some pretty clever people have worked years on just doesn't work, and its false economy....but best of luck.

I think out the door '99 360s were 160+. While they may not be 50% of MSRP, they can be had for around $100K....while 20 year old 328s are selling for close to what they sold for new, or within 10-20%. My point is that the new cars are way overproduced, bling, bling items and that long term these are just used cars and nothing more, and they will depreciate like bricks. Case in point.........550s sold for $250K and they can be bought for 100-130K. Daytonas, while not fetching what they did 10 years ago are still 150-250K....they sold for 20K new.

Frankly, its your money and do what you will.........its your money. This just a place for opinions. Enjoy your cars and be safe.
8-9 year old car (they all are just cars after all) selling for 50% of the original sticker and that is suppose to prove "poor resale???!!!
Show me another brand with lower depreciation?
