New Interior Trim & Wheel for my SL55
Hey guys. Here's a pic of my new Silver Carbon Fiber Interior, as well as the steering wheel. The wheel is at least 30% thicker and have a much better feel than the stock one.

Wheel and interior is made by MP Designs.
Quality is OEM. In fact, the Carbon Trim was much heavier than the wood. I am very impressed with it. The Steering wheels took the shift buttons from my original wheel, so everything is as it should be. The whole wheel, including the back shroud is covered in Leather. Top notch stuff!

do you mind divulging cost of parts and labor? that looks really nice! I balked at the price when I was looking into that for my SL... Wald was the manufacturer I was looking at. Thanks!

Oh man, both of those cars are pure sex! Both of those are basically my dream cars. I got to see a Ford GT at the beach this past summer and it was simply stunning. The thing rides sooooo low! and the rear tires are sooooo fat. I'm sure you're in heaven every day of the weak.

Well, the wheel and trim retailed for around $4K. I got a smokin deal for almost half.
They had one matching set in stock at that price, and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted. I do have the shifter as well, but it is for Keyless go, and I dont have it.
I had the Dealer install everything, and they did it for around $600. Most places do it for around $250, but I did not feel like shopping around for that, and I wanted it done right, plus my car was at the dealer for the latest recall.

Adam, I have not painted it yet. That's why I wanted you to paint it. I have no time to get it done. If I remember, I will take it to the paint shop I work with. They do some awesome work.

SL55 AMG, 2006 Range Rover Sport with Kahn Design Package
Brabus springs, Carlsson springs, Eibach, H&R. DSB had brabus springs installed. It says it works like magic, no rubbing etc. Ride is good.
