I preferred the driving experience in the GT3, much more involving than the Turbo and a much greater contrast to my SL55.
I agree there, I hoping I can get one next year if I'm lucky.

I decided to wait for an E63.

My lease payments are 1700-1800 think it's to much? I thought heavily on the CLS63 i tried the cls55 going in and out of the vehicle is a pain in the *** for a tall person.

I saw my friend's m5 i looked inside and went errrr yeah ok. HAHA it's fast i give you that. The m6 probably would be something like that so blah blah blah I'll pass.

Never know why I never considered G wagen's.

Since you have the 997tt and a k2 sl55 can you tell me which car is faster from light to light in a street race, or in a straight line race? I am guessing you have the 6spd 997tt.

I have the 6 speed.
The 6 speed spec is 0-60 in 3.7 and there are few cars in the world that can get off the line like the 997TT. It even beats the Veyron to the 30 foot mark, with the tiptronic. Tiptronic numbers from the press are 0-60 in 3.2. The 997TT with tip is the ultimate stoplight warrior.
The K2 has more hp/tq at the wheels than the 997TT has at the crank. Still, from a 50mph roll in 3rd the 997TT stays with the K2 and starts pulling on it around 120. Not by a lot though.
I have the optional ceramic breaks and this thing stops as easily as it goes. Note the shadow under the right rear tire. I am braking real hard and turning the wheel to the right for a hairpin turn. The weight transfer is making the front tires bite harder and turn sharper. This pic was snapped a split second before I feathered off the brake (trail braking) for the turn.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to ask someone who has both cars and not someone who got rid of one for the other since they may feel the need to hype the car they kept. I thought the 997 tt would just walk away from the 55 k2 but from what your saying in the average stop light to stop light race the cars will be even? Now you said from a 50mph roll so I am guessing if they start from a stop the 997 will jump out in front until the 55 stops spinning? I have a local dealer that has 11 people waiting for the 997 tt but can get me in slot #3 for the gt3 but I want something that I can make go faster and I think the gt3 is pretty much maxed out the way it comes, and I also dont go to the track either so it may be the wrong car.

I have never launched the 997TT hard or even mildly hard, but I'm sure that it will take the SL55 K2 because of the advanced AWD. You are right about the GT3, it is mostly a track car.
