well since i posted last about not having any chirp, the chirp appeared last week!! 3750miles, and a little chirp when the charger engages.
All you people saying the charger cuts in at 2600, have lazy chargers! coz mine most definitly enagages well before then. As the new bird under my bonnet confirms it!
I will try for the warranty clutch replacement option, as i am not a fan of this chirp. I dont want pissy little squeeks coming from my bonnet! I only want some whine and a deep burble! -but my charger whine is not evident! even with all the windows down, even listening from out side the car.. Theres a bit of a whistle as you nail it off the line, which is then overcome by exhuast noise, no shrieking whine
