SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: ABC Warning Lights

ABC Warning Lights
I bought 2003 SL55 AMG from a friend with 9000 miles. He told me that these lights kept coming up since the first day he bought the car. His dealership tried to fix it few times but the the warning message kept coming back, usually at the beginning of the rides. They finally told him that it was a "computer error". The height adjustment works fine. Anyone out there experiencd the same issue? Thanks very much.

no, they are the low priority blue lights, i never had the red ones come on yet. The car seems to drive perfectly fine and I see no change in the height stationary or moving. Also i checked for leaks and could not find any.

2004 SL55 AMG with 64,500 miles I changed the rear left travel sensor as I had ABC light on the dashboard with one malfunction I done a fault test on my laptop and found it was this travel sensor Its now on but the suspension will still not go up and down ? Do I have to clear the fault code and dash ABC light before it all works again Cheers lads I am a new Member on here

Just sold my '11 Porsche TurboS cab for an '03 SL55!
Graham1965,
Which system/software are you using? Where did you buy it and about what did it cost?
Would you recommend it?
Thanks, also new here and to the SL55, but very capable DYI'er.

If you do not mind being limited to working only on cars c. 2014 and older, then this with a Dell D630 laptop sourced from eBay may be a good choice. Total cost: About $320.
I'm wondering where someone can get a new travel sensor without purchasing a complete strut. The M-B dealer parts department does not sell the sensor seperately.
