Well, I just bought a new 06 Viper Coupe. I did not wait for the 08 for a couple reasons.
First, the current drive train is proven. It will take a year or two for Dodge to work out the bugs in the new motor.

Second, there are a lot of aftermarket solutions for the current motor. I plan to either SC or TT the Viper, so what do I care about 90 stock HP.

Not to mention that the new model will also weigh more.

I bought the Viper as a Stable mate for my GT. The GT is not a car to take everywhere. With the Viper, I can park it anywhere, and not worry about it. If someone parks next to me, I can still get in the Viper. The GT requires like 4 feet of space to get in. Here's a couple pics of my cars.

Thanks. The first one in the US with this size combo. 20" fronts and 22" rears. Same rolling diameter as stock. HUGE 5" Lip on the rears.

No wonder! Those rears look HUGE! I have 20" rears on my Viper and look tiny compared to your rears. What size tires all around? I see they are P-Zero Neros.

Well, I have had 5 different sets of HRE's and bent every one of them. I have had 4 sets of Iforged, and have not bent any of them.
Between the two, the Iforged lips stayed polished longer, and looked much nier, side by side. I was once a believer of HRE, but now I like Iforged more. I know the stigma is that Iforged is cheap knockoff of HRE, but infact, they look and hold up better. Also, my Iforged wheels always fit better than my HRE's for some reason.
I still have some 547's on my SL55.

Cars look great and those 22's look very nice. I am sticking with the 65 for now until I find something I really want. We have been eyeing the 997tt's and I was really working on the gt but started thinking i cant go anywhere in it and your comment about the 4 ft thing proves me right. Thanks everyone.
