Cubanit-silver w/ designo interior
i was at Mercedes-Benz in Kassel today, its about 100km form Paderborn.
they had lots of AMG and "designo" cars there, but the most stunning was an SL55 in cubanitsilber (think its called pewter in the USA) and black leather.
but what really impressed me was the granite-stone applications! i saw one on a photo, but in person it looked really....WOAH....unique! the car was open and the sun shined into some parts of the car, there are lots of reflexes and sparkles on that granite, never see something like that before.
i only had my nokia 7650 with me, which is a really nice mobile phone and you can make photos and short videos with it. but the quality is not good, but hell, it´s only a telephone and i´am carring around with me all the time.

The car looks great but I suspect there are a lot of colors this car looks great in. Thats because it is a awesome car. Thanks for the pics, have one on order delivery date late january. Diamond silver, black interior, 21 spoke wheel and all the other options that they offer in USA.

the overall price for that new SL55 was around 144.000 € it has distronic, command, designo interior and a roof (including A- and B-pillars) with black alcantara lether.
i don´t think it is overpriced.
i have the brochure here in my hands, but no scanner avalible at the moment
but i will try to do it somewhere else.

I wud never choose Distronic! Had it on my S400CDI
Never ever used it! Just found it hep in the begenning!!Felix any Idea if the Designo Alcantara roof is any different from the normal roof lining?

I looked at ordering the Stone interior, but it was £2,200, so pretty costly. I did not want the AMG silver interior after seeing a car with it, so ended up with Designo Umbro interior at a more reasonable £800. Seems nicer than just plain black.
Panoramic roof and heated steering wheel options now available too.
I finally went for Tellur Silver (Diamond) with Berry, not a recommended combination, but I dont think it will clash too much.

maybe a bit of-toppic but here is the link to the Nokia 7650:

have it for 4weeks now, and are so happy with it. the ability to take a picture of everything u see is really nice, and you have the 7650 always with you.
you can link fotos to your contacts, and everytime someone calls you, there is a little picture of her on the display. there are may nice gimmicks like that. i can only recommend it if you are watching for a new mobile phone.

Has anyone tried to special order the stone interior in the US. I have 1 month to finalize the car (December build) and am quite interested. The dealer is inquiring. Thanks for any help.

1M, F550M, F550B, F40, S600, 365GTC, DBSx2, etc.
My guess is you will not only have to educate them, but also push them hard to make the calls. Once they do, however, it shouldn't be much more of a question than cash.
