I guess the SL55 would be the beast?

So far I am loving the SL55. As some of you know I had a fully loaded 2007 Corvette Z06 2LZ for 700 miles before I sold it and bought the 1 owner 20K mile 2004 SL55. If I was 15 years younger, the Z06 would have been perfect.. but for now it was just too brute for my taste at this point in time.

And the BMW 760Li replaced our 1996 Bentley Turbo R:

AMGLover, beautiful cars!

That is the truth! I have a 2K square foot warehouse where I store the antiques.. I just wish it wasn't 10 miles from my home. I hate to move from this house, we built it in 1991.

Good Move !
As a previous owner of a Cadillac XLR-V (basically a fancy corvette) I agree that the SL55 not only gives you sportiness, but that the vettes can't compare in the luxury dept. The SL is the best of both worlds. Congrats

Really I miss nothing about the Z06... the Z06 was unrefined, loud, bumpy, low, and uncomfortable for the most part. The touch screen Navigation is probably the only thing I miss.

Other than that, I can modify this SL55 to be just as fast as the Z06 and be far happier while driving it

It's the beauty and the beast between those 2

I guess the 7 series could be the teacup...or something

I had 760Li Individual 2004... nice car, very comfortable... but 50% of time it was in service!!! lots of things that went wrong!!!

I have SL55 AMG 2007, very nice car... I would say a perfect sports car!

Nice cars you have!!! good luck !

It sure is not in league with my GT3 RS but the SL55 beast would suprise the hell out of you on a road course or slalom course. Dainty it ain't but my SL55 beast dances quite well as it punishes it's P zeros. OT but I will be taking it to autox later this summer.

Enjoy you're new 04 SL55 ride. I almost pulled the trigger on a yellow z06 but went for a black 997C2S instead. More uber.

Cheers man, not want to argue. I love SL very much and nearly want SL55

But SL is a GT cruiser, not a sport car.

Use your search button in other thread.

Love you bro
