Two cars, which one should I choose?

2005 SL55 17K miles for $85K (black)
2004 SL55 28K miles for $71K (Silver)

Both have Pano roof, Keyless go, each have 1 year extended warranty (100K miles MB certified)

Any compelling reason? (Considering it's a net $15K difference including tax)

'05. First, it's black... Second, it's black... and third, it's black

Seriously.... assuming the price stays as it is or you are able to negotiate the same %, even though both have extended warranty, '04 would end 1 year earlier.

So taking into consideration for 9K less, 1 year newer, 1 year longer warranty, $9K minus the same % of negotiation is definitely worth it. But that's me

**** EDIT ****
Never mind... it's late at night and I need to take my medicine I just noticed the price difference is $14K. LOL.... now you could just flip my assessment above.... LOL.

Which Year?

Get the 05

Always get the lastest model you can afford.
More warranty. Less bugs.

Go with the black one. Silver is way too common on the the sl55's, and in my opinion, it makes it look cheap. Plus its newer. If you can get it down to 78, take it.

if you plan on keeping it i would go with the 2004... why not save some cash anyway, and at 28k miles its hardly an old car

As Transferred states "get a 65". After the 63, that's the only car that is worth getting.

If you haven't driven the back breaker V12 Bi Turbo, you missing a whole lot of power (fun).

Hint...It's feels better in a SL than a CL.

Hah hah, I knew people would be asking why I want the 55K.
Actually I don't really, I just want a roadster for the weekend drive and I think I'd be missing the power if I went with a 500 so the 55K is the only choice, I'll be keeping the 63 as my primary car. Also looking into a G55 (great deals on used ones) as a tertiary car. All this while my buddy wants to sell me his Gallardo for $138K. Decisions decisions.
