Car was picked up for transportation today and had a friend take a pic with his camera phone. It's going to be a long week.

I sympathize, I bought a SL55 on April 11 and it's sitting in a parking garage, 3,000 miles away, waiting for me to show up and drive it home.

The good news is that I'm flying out on Tuesday to start the drive home and get aquatinted with my new ride.

It's my friends garage (owner of the lambo).

Anxious to change my signature pic as well.

I'll be sure to take better pics when it's here. Also will post my pre-mod dyno results. have several races set up as well including F430, Z06, SRTViper, M6, my old CLS55 K1 and a SLR722 ( I know, but just an honor to race it).

There is a Black Loaded 06 SL65 on ebay with a 113k reserve. Looks like a fantastic deal. Only drawback is the seller has zero feedback but is located 15 min from me in Malibu so if anyone need anything checked out let me know.

There is a cross-Europe trip I am planning this summer. There is a likelihood I will do part of that trip on my European delivery MB (considering a replacement of my car, exact model, but new gen). I agree, long trips are a fenomenal way of getting acquainted.

Just got the call. My car is in Cali and they will be delivering tonight. The shipper said "we will be delivering sometime tomorrow, unless you want to take it late tonight." Was that even an option?

Looking forward to the weekend.
