SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Valentine One mounting...

Valentine One mounting...
I am new to the boards and recently purchased a SL65. I was wondering if anyone on the boards have a valentine one with pictures of where they mounted the device. Thinking of wiring the Valentine One but I need some ideas. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I hard wired my V1 in my SL55 by running the wire down the driver's side A pillar, and picking up a hot wire under the dash. The unit itself is mounted on the driver's side visor.

My V1 is mounted on the driver visor and hard wired into the dome light assembly. In my opinion, this is a perfect setup. The V1 is located at the highest point for maximum distance sensitivity, and the power cord is very unobtrusive.

Tim,
How did you get into the overhead dome light assembly. I've yet to find instrunctions relating to the SL on how to accomplish this. Everything I've tried seems on the verge of breaking something. Also, what wires did you tap into?
Any advice would be appreciated.

My dome light install was done by Kevin at Audio Illusions (Chatsworth, CA). I suggest that you look him up, and send him an email.
